More sad news for this blog concerning the large white rabbit mentioned in the first post. This rabbit was Mr. Bingley aka Bing he was a "Barrie Bunny" from Rabbit Rescue that I was fostering for awhile. If you want more info about the Barrie bunnies or any other RR info please check out the link on this blog. I found out that he crossed the bridge on Monday. This is one of my favourite pictures of him he was trying to get into the hay bag. After I took the picture he gave me a look that said "Why did you make it so hard for me to eat this hay?"
He was such a wonderful bunny and I'm so glad he found such a loving forever home. I thought of him often and miss him very much. I hope he is up there binkying up a storm with Gracie and all the other bunny angels.

We are all very sad over here too. Mommy said she remembered snuggling him and picking him up after the rescue, and taking him to his first foster home. She is very sad and hopes you and his family all know how wonderful you made his life.
ReplyDeleteOh that is very sad. I lost my lionhead Gumby last week. It's hard to lose a little friend.
ReplyDeleteWe are sorry to hear about your friend Bing. We read about him over at Some Bunny and wanted to drop by to let you know that you are in our thoughts.
ReplyDeleteYup, we heard about Bing from Fez too .. but we also heard all about the Barrie Bunny rescue and so Bingy had a good life!
ReplyDeleteOh no, that is very sad news indeed. It sounds like he had a great life after being rescued, and we hope he's having a wonderful time at the Bridge.
ReplyDeleteOh no, always sad when the world is one bunny less. :(
