</div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;">I haven't kept up with posting on here as Peanut had been having health issues. First she had elevated liver enzymes, then she had a rectal prolapse. Plus she has had ongoing chronic sinus issues. She had emergency surgery to repair the prolapse but the sutures prevented her from pooping so they were removed. I was told if it returns she would probably have to be pts as the surgery didn't properly fix it the first time and that it would continue to return as there is damage to the tissues and muscles.</div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;">A rectal prolapse is extremely rare in bunnies, she had an ultrasound to see if we could find the cause. They also wanted a look at her liver. Unfortunately nothing was seen on the ultrasound, so nothing could be done. She had another prolapse in the middle of September, I was sure she would have to be pts, but it corrected itself and I had a few more wonderful weeks with her. </div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;">Sadly the prolapse returned last night with heavy bleeding. So I had to take her to be pts. Her mate Fuzz was with her and so far seems to be okay. I'm worried about him.</div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;">She was such a special bunny and had been with me almost 7 years. She was my first rescue bunny and was with me through thick and thin. I miss her so much and there is a gaping hole in my heart. </div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;">I don't think I'll be able to continue with this blog, but I hope to keep up with my other blog "The Bunny Slave" Check it out for bunny updates.</div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><br />

Hopefully all the yummy hay she gets now will help even them out.<div><br /></div><div>Can you tell this maple leaf blanket is the official bunny blanket? It is very soft and we all enjoy laying on it or digging it up! So you will probably see it in lots of pictures! Little Charlie is 7 years old today! He has really bad teeth but is such a little trooper. He loves his meds, I just hold out the syringe and he comes running. He got lots of treats and snuggles today :) <br />

I can't believe it. She has been with me through thick and thin, I love her so much! She'll be getting spoiled rotten today and getting lots of treats. It breaks my heart that she is not very well. She is fighting a recurrent sinus infection that is not responding to antibiotics. But she is a little trooper and is not giving up yet!<br />

Time flies so fast and my slave is far too busy for my liking. Here is our second foster bunny Opal. </div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitkPrWtrr9urCgYx5C09ko3absDHPFc_LMRftYRhWdO-CLmxQGW8auvSKF-Cj2UfBCLdnf1bLrTgMU9JlTwcp7L6-AlKWP965zbngpWGTVnuDzJVRgfBFiajJ_JFPSvG-r-jo5lKZVzD_6/s1600/OPAL5.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitkPrWtrr9urCgYx5C09ko3absDHPFc_LMRftYRhWdO-CLmxQGW8auvSKF-Cj2UfBCLdnf1bLrTgMU9JlTwcp7L6-AlKWP965zbngpWGTVnuDzJVRgfBFiajJ_JFPSvG-r-jo5lKZVzD_6/s320/OPAL5.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5513022190673995570" /></a>I particularly like this first picture, it looks like she is scheming which is what every good bunny should do. She may make an evil overlord yet, but she is a bit of a softy.<div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigUTDOwkxpAnZetBGY-F7QUQ9eXJnGf6mcT8L4PNGDHJcT1wBv1rj4WCfUmX7zPmR8heIt3Acsc1VOhhu6mxhm_uOvWjC-vaz7FdPC8NfKh4PW1PjjlDQWC0OIh6TUjjvXjMj1DKdy4MgK/s1600/OPAL4.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigUTDOwkxpAnZetBGY-F7QUQ9eXJnGf6mcT8L4PNGDHJcT1wBv1rj4WCfUmX7zPmR8heIt3Acsc1VOhhu6mxhm_uOvWjC-vaz7FdPC8NfKh4PW1PjjlDQWC0OIh6TUjjvXjMj1DKdy4MgK/s320/OPAL4.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5513022189752059810" /></a>Opal is a big beautiful New Zealand white rabbit. We think she had been living outside for quite some time. She had worn down nails and grease stains on her fur from living under cars. But after a massive shed she is now nice and pure white again.</div><div>She is a really sweet bunny who will stop and smush to the floor the moment you start petting her. She is very curious and loves to explore. A public service announcement type message, always spay your bunnies! Besides the obvious reasons of preventing pregnancy and cancer. Opal was VERY hormonal prior to spay, she went through a false pregnancy, built a nest and was very stressed out. She was very protective of her nest and would box and even bite my slave. But now that she is spayed she is a big suck and shows no aggression. Also due to her high hormones she had some complications after her spay. She had a lot of bruising around her incision and some bleeding. Fortunately she healed up well and is perfectly fine now. <a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvQESee3-ZInIIJFlme7903NuCYofD1Mf4iB2LroUYaOHtITb_86MH3p9MwYKvEvNeZHYgEc5wC6INRu12HcNEB6hdTZCuUm99xT8kCu1IJ39ikuV5BmGFh9-5dcyXP4hyN8lpJrKU_qWQ/s1600/OPAL3.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvQESee3-ZInIIJFlme7903NuCYofD1Mf4iB2LroUYaOHtITb_86MH3p9MwYKvEvNeZHYgEc5wC6INRu12HcNEB6hdTZCuUm99xT8kCu1IJ39ikuV5BmGFh9-5dcyXP4hyN8lpJrKU_qWQ/s320/OPAL3.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5513022182233409874" /></a>My slave is hoping to adopt her, but needs to get a better paying job first since funds are a little tight right now. Update part 2<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">My slave has really been slacking, sorry for the delay. Although I partially think she was avoiding the next part of the update. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">There has been a lot of sadness for us over the last few months. First just days before the big move, Georgie wasn't feeling well. It seemed like gas at first, but in less than 12 hours he was gone. It turns out he a very severe pasturella infection. He was so good at hiding it my slave did not see any signs early enough to stop the infection. He just couldn't wait any longer before seeing his Gracie again. I hope they are very happy together again at the Bridge.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw2YyIzBrlT8Lr-UaY2Dl24MXhKUfeaE8Xe7e_DRP1mGnX-kspszj0AEG8AhBC_nKEyTFhWwpqjpukNxYuCxwVNIjy0715teBENPRphf_7NTyMSq7t4Fm6_9c-C_DvvHvXMkH6tomEm3E/s320/peanutarmy-7504.jpg" /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><br />
<br />
Not long before the big move, Moo decided that Chopper was alright after all and escaped and bonded herself with him. My slave was very happy and very surprised. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to last, but they did comfort each other during the move. She may have known he wasn't well.<br />
It was discovered some time ago that poor Chopper had bad teeth. He went in for a molar trim/recheck when they discovered he had two rotten infected molars. He had them removed and was not allowed to eat solid food for a whole week! The poor fella was not happy. However, during that week he was worse than expected. He was miserable and lost a lot of weight despite being fed lots of critical care. When he went in for a recheck my slave was convinced he had an infection in his mouth that was making him so unhappy. However, it was even worse news. The vet discovered his stomach felt very bloated even though he was still pooping, so decided to do an x-ray. The x-ray showed that poor Chopper had a stomach full of tumours. He had been fighting this a long time but had never shown any signs before he had his teeth done. My slave made the tough decision to help him to the RBB because he was so unhappy and obviously in a lot of pain. <br />
<br />

Binky free my friends.<br />
<br />

My slave was too busy getting ready to move and then we had no internet for over a month! Lots of updates some good, some bad. I'll try to go in the order everything happened. To keep my posts from getting too long, I think I'll break it up into a couple of posts. Keep checking back! I promise to post every day or so.<div>First I have a new minion, no pictures but here is a video! His name is Charlie.</div><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dySI-25SWye-eq-62EQj2pvouZWQ08QVxQa2eIhlSwqp8VM8Dej_NzZtlMDxwgArzGk_tpEWwO0vS5ROsp2-Q' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe><div>He is a sweet little mini rex like me, he reminds my slave of Gracie personality-wise. He loves to give kisses, run around her feet and get petted. He also has very bad teeth, poor little guy. However, regular tooth trims keep him in tip top shape and his is a happy little bunny. I apologize for my slaves lack of video editing skills, so it is kinda long with no music. But at least you can see what Charlie looks like!</div><div><br /></div><div>Next up was the big move! Starting the weekend of March 12 my slave started moving out all of her stuff! It was a little stressful for us bunnies, but we did okay. We moved a couple of weeks later. Now we are in a nice big house instead of an apartment! We have a yard and my slave is going to plant a vegetable garden! I am very excited about all of this.</div><div><br /></div><div>More tomorrow!</div><div>Thanks for reading</div><div>~Peanut</div>Peanuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10340054295815852459noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7216158816038565291.post-37174910920594627312010-02-21T12:57:00.003-05:002010-02-21T13:00:47.233-05:00Final Installment of Pictures!<div>Here is the final batch of pictures! Sorry for the lack of posts but my slave was very busy in December and is finally getting caught up enough to get back to helping me with this computer thing. I hope everyone had a great holiday! </div><div><br /></div><div>At least she is done with school work for awhile, which makes us happy because it means more time with us! </div><div><br /></div><div>My slave decided on Christmas eve to give Spot a forever home here with us. This means that my army is now up to 6 bunny minions and 2 cat minions! I think I'm doing pretty well for myself. The next step is taking over the whole world! muahahaha....</div><div><br /></div><div>Sorry got a little carried away there. He is a tiny little dwarf bunny. He is very active and is in love with Sapphire, he chases her around whenever he is out of his pen. He was trouble for my slave in the beginning, the little guy did not want to eat! But now he has come around and is eating well. It was fun for awhile, the rest of us bunnies got the concoctions my slave made up to try to tempt him to eat. George had a nasty bout of fur block at the end of August, but thankfully he got over it without needing any risky surgery. She wrote some big test called the MCAT in Ottawa on Sept 12. Finally she has been very sick for the last 2 weeks. Us bunnies have been easy on her lately because we feel sorry for her. Luckily she has been giving us lots of treats to make up for being sick and not being able to play with us as much. <div><br /></div><div>Lily won a bunspace contest for her great "butt dewlap" photo above and the prize was a donation to her favourite rescue, which is of course Rabbit Rescue! The money went to help special needs bunnies through the Fiver Fund. </div><div><br /></div><div>The bonding between George and Lily has been going slow since my slave has been too busy to work much with them but apparently George doesn't want to wait! During George's out time yesterday he managed to jump into Lily's pen! My slave couldn't believe it, there really wasn't much fur, so they must not have fought much (they are both shedding anyway). Also, no apparent injuries either. She doesn't know how long he was in there for since she had been laying down and they didn't make enough noise to wake her up. She found them eating hay together in the litter box, but since Lily looked a little stressed she split them up. Perhaps a bond isn't so far off.</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks for reading</div><div>~Peanut<br /><div><br /></div><div> </div></div>Peanuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10340054295815852459noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7216158816038565291.post-53713048711512317792009-08-20T22:07:00.002-04:002009-08-20T22:15:48.243-04:00Update!Hello everyone, sorry for the lack of posts my slave has been busy studying for something she calls the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">MCAT</span>, I don't know what that means, but it sounds kinda scary.<div><br /></div><div>Anyways, lots of vet trips recently. Chopper was first he had a few more tests done and he seems to be fine. He still drinks a lot but it might be something behavioural the vet said, so we are just going to keep an eye on him for now. Moo had a little episode of gas or something but she didn't start eating again right away, my slave had to force feed her for a few days. She had her teeth checked out and they are fine, so with the heat and all it must just have taken her a bit to get over the tummy trouble. She is now back to normal it seems so that is good. Finally on to me, I had a check-up today and I seem to be over my respiratory infection! <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Woot</span> finally!! I'm now being weaned off my injections and hopefully the infection is gone for good. So hopefully my army and I stay healthy for a little while now. This has been very hard on my slave both emotionally and financially. </div><div><br /></div><div>My slave is very excited for Rabbit Rescue's bunfest this weekend! <a href="http://rabbitrescue.ca/images/BunFest09_flyer.jpg">http://rabbitrescue.ca/images/BunFest09_flyer.jpg</a></div><div><br /></div><div>She isn't going to be bringing me since I was sick and she dosen't want the stress to bring it back, but she had better bring me some yummy treats home!</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks for reading</div><div><br /></div><div>~Peanut</div>Peanuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10340054295815852459noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7216158816038565291.post-29579467119919203072009-07-31T06:51:00.003-04:002009-07-31T06:56:50.999-04:00Update on ChopperChopper's blood work came back pretty much normal, so it seems there is no major problems with his kidneys or anything. My slave has been told to monitor his water intake, and if it is as high as she thinks he may need a few more tests done. The vet suggested possibly testing for EC and do a urinalysis. The antibiotics seem to be starting to work, he seems to be sneezing less. I'll keep posting updates as I get them, he'll be back at the vet the end of next week likely, just before his antibiotics run out.<div><br /></div><div>In other news, I think I am starting to get better, although the vet told my slave that because the duplicillin is working I may have a tooth root abscess or something. Now that is no fun :(</div><div><br /></div><div>~Peanut</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks for reading</div>Peanuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10340054295815852459noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7216158816038565291.post-23093543995170948682009-07-30T09:26:00.002-04:002009-07-30T09:35:48.019-04:00Furry Butts Fursday<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHMh5XrUqm05ZHsFn0AYZgBbVAtVGopAE-Yug9jeArQNGjAYetKTmYE_7eEFvLfQ2udi1EbTjkI-km7JeYtuyEJdwry_Zf25XF-gd-zBrdEaCJQ4JshGw2G2khKTPNg3q3i3-9GZSUVJDi/s1600-h/FurryButtMoo.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 272px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHMh5XrUqm05ZHsFn0AYZgBbVAtVGopAE-Yug9jeArQNGjAYetKTmYE_7eEFvLfQ2udi1EbTjkI-km7JeYtuyEJdwry_Zf25XF-gd-zBrdEaCJQ4JshGw2G2khKTPNg3q3i3-9GZSUVJDi/s320/FurryButtMoo.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364244901008149058" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDZcjI7B6nDcG2kNlml1TqmXOtJas204bE4GZcjBD9SfX1uoLmzh_TXCwhXvP5TSoTWZNX8m-ZQr7NSyZ4fUgdTSFRKm-DlAO0qqE5DzgjaMHJi7cAzta9dM9mo3U9OKdGoi-96D-NlBvr/s1600-h/FurryButtLily.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 264px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDZcjI7B6nDcG2kNlml1TqmXOtJas204bE4GZcjBD9SfX1uoLmzh_TXCwhXvP5TSoTWZNX8m-ZQr7NSyZ4fUgdTSFRKm-DlAO0qqE5DzgjaMHJi7cAzta9dM9mo3U9OKdGoi-96D-NlBvr/s320/FurryButtLily.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364244890826781826" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPFhqbxfIcJgaZdMM3Xr7O1PPtSzS4GAnWMqdAr9kL_tA9lljA9VbmSkp7EbMF4yMpbez98hbU5p09dFtVQU7qm-Hj_hN_mr8HTNet7yP9zrJ8RJnUim3B12i4kjILe5sVuffYMjQ79XqG/s1600-h/FurryButtPeanut.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 254px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPFhqbxfIcJgaZdMM3Xr7O1PPtSzS4GAnWMqdAr9kL_tA9lljA9VbmSkp7EbMF4yMpbez98hbU5p09dFtVQU7qm-Hj_hN_mr8HTNet7yP9zrJ8RJnUim3B12i4kjILe5sVuffYMjQ79XqG/s320/FurryButtPeanut.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5364244487959420034" /></a>In honour of dear sweet Hans from <a href="http://furrybutts.wordpress.com/">Furrybutts</a> who has left for the bridge. It had been such a bad year for my army, and a pretty bad year for many other bunnies out there in blog land. Lets hope this bad luck is nearly over and done with! I want my army and all my bunny friends out there to be healthy! <div><br /></div><div>My slave noticed poor Chopper had a snotty nose this morning and got him in to see the vet this afternoon. He was put on antibiotics for his "cold" and that will hopefully clear it up quickly. However, the vet also noticed one of his kidneys felt bigger than the other and that he is dehydrated. He sure does seem to drink and pee a lot, but I always thought it was just because he is a much bigger bunny than me. So we are anxiously awaiting the blood test results to find out if there is something wrong with poor Chopper's kidneys. I will post as soon as I hear something, it likely won't be until late tomorrow or Thursday.</div><div><br /></div><div>~Peanut</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks for reading</div>Peanuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10340054295815852459noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7216158816038565291.post-87638541027158917042009-07-20T16:28:00.002-04:002009-07-20T16:41:05.391-04:00Update<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgK1_6q7EGkU8fV6s30WTN7Tb4-dYGujdvqe_u-UX7HLXFV29ldV6uGM8Dev26BfgvxiVgbXOU5IGOzFFQCHHSTqDmV8nmhse73i1HvqApofxi8SSvyWyGeW-R67T-NJxHI8tMfPw-Kw3CE/s1600-h/Peanut2Feb09-1.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 229px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgK1_6q7EGkU8fV6s30WTN7Tb4-dYGujdvqe_u-UX7HLXFV29ldV6uGM8Dev26BfgvxiVgbXOU5IGOzFFQCHHSTqDmV8nmhse73i1HvqApofxi8SSvyWyGeW-R67T-NJxHI8tMfPw-Kw3CE/s320/Peanut2Feb09-1.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360642821335943250" /></a>Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been posting much, I am still fighting this nasty respiratory infection. I'm not feeling too bad, but I'm still a bit snuffly and congested. Since I was not getting better with the three antibiotics I was on, the vet felt that my slave should switch to <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">duplicillin</span> injections instead. So now instead of oral antibiotics twice a day I get poked with a needle once per day. I'm not sure I like this very much, but I just don't want to be sick anymore :( I might be starting to feel a little better already, but we will have to wait a little longer to know for sure.<div><br /></div><div>In other news, the rest of my furry army seems to be staying pretty healthy *knocks on wood* The vet bills have been pretty tough on my slave this year, so she is really hoping I get better soon and that the rest stay healthy.</div><div><br /></div><div>A couple of weekends ago, I got to go on a road trip to one of my slaves friends houses. It was fun seeing another place and getting to explore. I didn't even mind the car trip too much, I just relaxed in my cage. I kinda hope she takes me on more trips :)</div><div><br /></div><div>I think that is all for now.</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks for reading </div><div><br /></div><div>~Peanut</div>Peanuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10340054295815852459noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7216158816038565291.post-88355459074018458052009-06-29T16:00:00.001-04:002009-06-29T16:00:57.454-04:00On the mend!I was back at the vet today and she said I was showing a lot of <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">improvement</span>! <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Yay</span>! Although I will still be on the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">meds</span> for at least another week maybe more. But I guess I'll keep taking the yucky <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">meds</span> since I'm feeling so much better. I'm not sneezing as much and I can breathe a lot better. Soon I will be back to my evil self. <div><br /></div><div>~Peanut</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks for reading</div>Peanuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10340054295815852459noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7216158816038565291.post-41592549018633452742009-06-23T15:49:00.002-04:002009-06-23T15:54:31.004-04:00Still sick :(Just a little update on me. I'm still not doing so well. I was starting to feel a little better on the one antibiotic but then I started getting worse again :( Apparently, one of the bugs became resistant or I had something else that wasn't being treated. So, I spent the weekend at the vets getting <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">nebulisation</span> treatments and now am on 3 different antibiotics. I am not a happy bunny, to show my <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">disapproval</span> I have been extra mean to my slave and cat since coming home. My slave owes me extra treats for all of this. She has bought a <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">nebuliser</span> so that she can treat me at home instead of having to go to the vet everyday. So at least I won't be back there for a few days. I really hope I start feeling better soon, I don't like being sick. I'll post another update soon.<div><br /></div><div>~Peanut</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks for reading </div>Peanuthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10340054295815852459noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7216158816038565291.post-10130206331720760302009-06-12T19:10:00.003-04:002009-06-12T19:28:35.821-04:00More Fuzz antics!I just had to share what Fuzz did the other day. My slave was watching TV, as she has been sick the last few days as well, and she saw Fuzz sit over her phone modem box thing for a little bit. I heard her say to him "You aren't peeing on that are you??" It turns out he did! hehe I have to admit I must be rubbing off on him as that was definitely something very evil to do! My slave thought at first that he just barely got it and it would be okay. But then there was this awful smell my slaves described as 'burning plastic', they frantically ran to the box and discovered it was sparking and smoking! They quickly unplugged it and took it outside so it wouldn't cause a fire or something. Admittedly, the thought of fire was scary but since there was no fire we can laugh about it. <div><br /></div><div>I guess to describe the situation a little better, the phone box (my slaves have what they call a cable phone) was sitting on the floor underneath a stool that the phone sits on. It was on the floor because the cords were too short for it to sit on top with the phone. There was a plastic square grid over the box and Fuzz sat on that. The square grid things are used to make little storage units but my slave used them to build Moo's house and uses them to try to keep us bunnies out of places we aren't supposed to be (like that works ha!). The phone box was near George's house and the grids were there to try to protect the box, but they got knocked down. Fuzz was over there trying to annoy George and he usually pees closer to the pen but I guess he felt like changing it up this time.</div><div><br /></div><div>Just a quick update on me, I'm still feeling pretty lousy but hopefully the meds kick in soon. I found out I have Pasturella and now only need 1 of the 2 antibiotics, I guess that is kind of a good thing as I really don't like my meds. They are supposed to taste like banana but I think they taste funny.</div><div><br /></div><div>~Peanut</div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks for reading</div><div><br /></div>Melhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05327721438481225099noreply@blogger.com4
